Ready for Real Work.

Buildx TradeCo is the trade-supplies side of Buildx Holdings, working out of the Buildx yard at 23 Jurgens Place, Bowen. We supply builders, trades and site crews across Bowen and the surrounding region.

What we actually are

We're not a home hardware store, and we're not trying to be. There's no aisle to wander and no sausage sizzle out the front.

What we are is a trade supplier with secured accounts across eighteen established suppliers — the same brands the bigger merchants buy from. We hold a standard recommended range at the yard to get you out of trouble day to day, and everything beyond that gets sourced in at trade pricing.

Tell us the brand, the spec, or just the job. We'll work out the rest.

Why we work this way

Reliable supply beats deep shelves.

A yard full of stock that isn't what your job needs is money sitting still. Secured supplier accounts mean we can bring in exactly the right product — the right fixing, the right membrane, the right sheet length — without carrying half a warehouse to do it.

That's the whole model: a sensible range on hand, and a short line to everything else.

Two brands, one yard

Buildx TradeCo shares its site with Buildx Hire, the equipment-hire half of the business. Same yard, same people, same standard.

If a job needs a telehandler as well as a pallet of fixings, that's one call and one relationship instead of two.

Local, and staying that way

Bowen is a working town, and the jobs around here don't wait on a supplier a few hours down the highway.

Being local means we know what gets used here, what the weather does to it, and how much it costs you when something doesn't turn up. We'd rather give you a realistic lead time than a hopeful one.
